SAFE Course
National Mortgage Loan Originator SAFE Course
On May 4, 2009,
the New Jersey Residential Mortgage Lending Act (RMLA) was signed into law
creating a new license law for New Jersey's mortgage bankers and mortgage
brokers. The Act requires the education, testing, and licensure of mortgage
load originators (MLOs), who will also be registered with the Nationwide
Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR).
This NMLS 3-day course fulfills the 20 hours of pre-license education required
under the SAFE Act. Course includes all mandatory hours for federal law,
ethics, non-traditional mortgage products and 4 hours of New Jersey state law.
All course material is included in tuition. Tuition includes a non-refundable
$75 application fee.
